Alaska’s hourly minimum wage is expected to rise to $11.73 from $10.85 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.
The calculations were based on Alaska statutes and federal data provided by the US Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Alaska law requires the state labor and workforce development department to calculate any annual minimum wage adjustment by Sept. 30.
