Half Moon Bay, Calif., established a $15 hourly minimum wage that is to take effect Jan. 1, 2021, the city said on its website.
The hourly minimum wage is to be annually reviewed for inflation-related adjustments starting in 2022, the ordinance said.
The ordinance was adopted at the city council’s Feb. 4, 2020, meeting.
The Hayward, Calif., city council on Feb. 4 adopted a $15 hourly minimum wage, starting July 1, 2020.
