Argentina clarified that its movable public holidays can still move when they fall on weekends under a decree published Aug. 28 that took effect immediately.

Decree No. 614/2025 (Spanish) fills a gap in Law No. 27,399 (Spanish) by explicitly allowing the movable holidays to move to the previous Friday or following Monday when they fall on a weekend.
