Argentina Sets New Minimum Wage for April and May: Gazette

Argentine government set a new minimum wage at ARS221,052 as of April 1, and at ARS234,315 from May 1, according a resolution published Friday on the official gazette.

  • Goverment set the new wages after talks between unions and business chambers failed at the meeting of the minimum wage council last Tuesday
  • NOTE: Minimum wage until now was ARS202,800
