Arizona released its 2025 unemployment insurance tax information in a chart released by the Economic Security Department.
Tax rates for positive-rated employers range from 0.04% to 4.86%, and rates for negative-rated employers range from 5.13% to 9.72%, according to the chart. By comparison, the 2024 rates ranged from 0.05% to 7.02% for positive-rated employers and from 7.41% to 14.03% for negative-rated employers.
The tax rate for new employers remains 2% for 2025, according to the chart.
Arizona’s unemployment-taxable wage base is $8,000, according to the chart.
