Arizona’s hourly minimum wage is expected to rise to $14.35 from $13.85 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.
The calculations were based on statutory requirements and federal Bureau of Labor Statistics data issued Sept. 13.
The tipped minimum wage is expected to increase to $11.35 from $10.85, based on a maximum $3 tip credit. State law allows employers to pay the tipped minimum wage if the sum of the tipped minimum wage and employees’ tips equals at least the state minimum wage for all hours worked.
