The Arkansas unemployment-taxable wage base is not to change for 2022, the state Division of Workforce Services said Oct. 29.
Effective Jan. 1, 2022, the unemployment-taxable wage base is to be $10,000, as in 2021, the division said on its website.
Unemployment tax rates for experienced employers are to range from 0.3% to 6.2% in 2022, and the maximum tax rate for negative-rated employers assessed an additional contribution is to be 14.2%. These rates include a solvency surtax of 0.2% and are unchanged from 2021.
