An Aruban law known as Tax Plan 2023 moves back the deadline for filing the annual collective wage statement and adjusts the income tax brackets.
The Tax Plan 2023 Ordinance (Dutch), which generally took effect Jan. 1, 2023, moves the filing deadline to March 31, instead of Jan. 31.
The top two income tax brackets were also adjusted downward. The highest 52% bracket starts at 135,527 Aruban florins (US$75,190.66), instead of 147,454 Aruban florins. The lowest two tax rates were also reduced to 10% and 21%, instead of 12% and 23%.
