Australia’s National Minimum Wage and minimum wages specified in awards will increase by 3.5% July 1, the country’s Fair Work Commission said June 3.
The increase results in a National Minimum Wage of A$948 (US$612.87) per week, up from A$915.90, or A$24.95 per hour, up from A$24.10, the commission said in its wage review.
