Belgium Increases Monthly Minimum Wages

Belgium’s monthly minimum wages increased by 2% effective Sept. 1, 2021, according to minimum wage tables (Dutch) released by the country’s Federal Public Service Employment, Labor, and Social Dialogue Sept. 14.

The standard monthly minimum wage for employees at least 18 years of age rose to 1,658.23 euros (U.S. $1,936.22) from 1,625.72 euros. For employees who are at least 19 years of age and have at least six months of service, the standard monthly minimum wage increased to 1,702.24 euros from 1,668.86 euros.
