Belgium’s withholding methods, contained in an annex to the country’s Income Tax Code of 1992 updated Dec. 29, were adjusted for 2026 primarily to index amounts and thresholds.
Annex III to the code (Dutch) contains the rules for withholding effective Jan. 1, 2026. Tax rates used in the annex continue to range from 26.75% to 53.5% and differ slightly from the statutory personal income tax rates listed in the code.
