The hourly minimum wage in Berkeley, California, will rise to $18.67 from $18.07 on July 1, according to an update on the city’s minimum wage webpage.
Berkeley updated its official notice to reflect the increase. The notice, which must be posted where employees can easily read it, is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
The minimum wage applies to employees who perform at least two hours of work in a calendar week, under the city’s municipal code.
