The city of Boulder, Colorado, created its own local minimum wage effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to a new page on the city’s website.
The hourly minimum wage is $15.57 for 2025, according to the website. The rate will increase to $16.82 for 2026 and $18.17 for 2027, under Boulder’s minimum wage ordinance. Starting in 2028, the minimum wage will be subject to annual inflation-based adjustments.
Employers are covered if they employ at least one employee, and employees are covered if they perform at least four hours of work in Boulder in a week, under the ordinance. However, ...
