The Boulder County, Colorado, Board of County Commissioners passed a minimum wage ordinance on Nov. 2 that will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2024.
The minimum wage rate will be $15.69 in 2024, $16.57 in 2025, $17.99 in 2026, $19.53 in 2027, $21.21 in 2028, $23.03 in 2029, and $25 in 2030, under Ordinance 2023-04. Starting in 2031, the county will annually raise the minimum wage based on year-to-year changes in the consumer price index.
Employers may take an hourly tip credit of up to $3.02 for food and beverage workers who regularly receive tips.
