Brazil’s national monthly minimum wage increased Jan. 1 to 998 reais (U.S. $263.57), up from 954 reais (U.S. $251.95), the national government said in a decree (Portuguese).
The daily equivalent of Brazil’s national minimum wage for 2019 is 33.27 reais (U.S. $8.79) and the hourly equivalent is 4.54 reais (U.S. $1.20), the government said.
