The hourly minimum wage in Fremont, California, will rise to $16.80 from $16 effective July 1, according to an April 14 news release from the city government.
The minimum wage applies to employees who work at least two hours in the city in a calendar week, under Fremont’s code of ordinances.
The city updated its minimum wage poster to reflect the increase. The poster is available in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Hindi.
