The hourly minimum wage in Petaluma, California, will rise to $17.06 from $15.85 effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to an Aug. 26 update on the city’s minimum wage webpage.
Petaluma also released its 2023 minimum wage poster and employer notification letter, both of which are available in English and Spanish. Employers are required to provide employees a notification letter informing them before Jan. 1 of the minimum wage rate in effect for the following year, under the city’s minimum wage code.
California’s hourly minimum wage will increase to $15.50 for all employers effective Jan. 1, 2023.
