The hourly minimum wage in Pasadena, California, will rise to $16.93 from $16.11 effective July 1, according to a handout released by the city on March 29.
The city also updated its minimum wage notice to reflect the increase. The notice, which employers must post where employees can easily read them, is available in English and Spanish.
The $16.93 minimum wage will be in effect from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024.
Pasadena’s minimum wage applies to employees who work at least two hours in the city in a week, according to the handout.
