The hourly minimum wage in Redwood City, California, will rise to $17 from $16.20 effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to a Nov. 2 update on the city’s minimum wage website.
The city updated its minimum wage notice to reflect the increased minimum wage. The notice is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
The hourly minimum wage applies to employee working at least two hours in the city in a calendar week, under Redwood City’s minimum wage code.
