The hourly minimum wage in Palo Alto, California, will rise to $17.25 effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to an Oct. 4 update on the city’s website.
The update corrects a Sept. 28 announcement stating the city’s hourly minimum wage would rise to $17.30 in 2023.
Palo Alto updated its minimum wage poster to reflect the minimum wage increase to $17.25. The poster is available in English and Spanish.
Palto Alto’s minimum wage applies to employees working at least two hours in the city in a calendar week, under the city’s minimum wage code.
