Canada’s Saskatchewan Province to Increase Minimum Wage Oct. 1

Effective Oct. 1, 2018, the hourly minimum wage for the Canadian province of Saskatchewan is to increase to C$11.06 (U.S. $8.49), up from the current rate of C$10.96 (U.S. $8.41), the website of the province’s government said.

Saskatchewan’s hourly minimum wage is adjusted based on changes in the consumer price index and the province’s average hourly wage for the preceding year.
