Chile Increases Taxable Wages for Social Taxes for 2025

Increases to Chile’s taxable wages for social taxes took effect Feb. 1, its Superintendency of Pensions said in two resolutions published Feb. 18.

The monthly taxable limit for unemployment insurance contributions (Spanish) increased to 131.9 account units, while the monthly limit for other social taxes (Spanish) increased to 87.8 account units. The unemployment insurance value increased from the provisional value of 131.8 account units used for January 2025 previously published by the superintendency (Spanish). The value for other social taxes was unchanged from January 2025.
