Effective Dec. 1, 2021, the Chinese province of Hainan will increase its monthly minimum wage ranges to 1,680 yuan (U.S. $262.55), 1,730 yuan, and 1,830 yuan, up from 1,670 yuan, 1,570 yuan, and 1,520 yuan, according to a notice (Chinese) published by the China News Service state news agency.
The hourly minimum wage ranges would also increase to 14.9 yuan, 15.4 yuan, and 16.3 yuan, up from 14 yuan, 14.4 yuan, and 15.3 yuan, effective Dec. 1, 2021, the notice said.
