Colorado Announces 2024 Unemployment Rates, New Support Surcharge

Colorado released its 2024 unemployment premium rates on the Labor and Employment Department’s website on Nov. 21.

Total premium rates will range from 0.81% to 5.2% for positive-rated employers and from 6.695% to 12.34% for negative-rated employers, according to the rate tables. The total premium rates include a solvency surcharge and a new support surcharge, the latter of which will take effect for the first time starting in 2024.
