Colorado Launches Family-Leave Insurance Employer Portal

Colorado’s family-leave insurance portal is open, according to a Dec. 1 press release from the state labor and employment department.

Employers and third-party administrators can use the portal to submit wage reports and remit premium payments. The link to register for the portal is https://famli.colorado.gov/employers/my-famli-employer.

Registration is required before the first premium payments are due on April 30, 2023, according to the press release.

Employers that plan to apply for exemption from the state program must still pay into the program until the state approves their private insurance plans, according to a Dec. 5 press release from the department. ...
