Colorado Minimum Wage Expected to Rise to $13.64 in 2023

Colorado’s hourly minimum wage is expected to rise to $13.64 from $12.56, and the hourly tipped minimum wage is expected to increase to $10.62 from $9.54 effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.

The calculations were based on state constitutional requirements and federal data from the US Commerce Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The state labor standards and statistics division is holding a stakeholder meeting Aug. 30 to gather input, facts, and opinions on the state’s annual minimum wage adjustment. The division will announce the minimum wage adjustment in the fall after going through a formal rulemaking process. ...
