Possible changes to Colorado’s agricultural worker wage and hour laws are to be the focus of several informal discussions to be held in late August, the Department of Labor and Employment said in an Aug. 9 email.
Several preliminary meetings are to be held on Aug. 17, 24, and 31 to address possible rulemaking that would affect agricultural worker minimum-wage, overtime-pay, and meal and rest break requirements, the department said in the email, which contains information that is publicly available at the new Agricultural Labor Rights and Responsibilities web page.
