Colorado’s unemployment tax rates generally are to decrease in 2020, a spokesman for the state Department of Labor and Employment said Oct. 29.
Effective Jan. 1, 2020, tax rates for experienced employers are to range from 0.58% to 3.17% for positive-rated employers and from 4.06% to 7.40% for negative-rated employers, the spokesman told Bloomberg Tax in an email. For 2019, tax rates for experienced employers range from 0.62% to 8.15%.
