Colorado’s hourly minimum wage is expected to rise to $12.55 from $12.32, effective Jan. 1, 2022, Bloomberg Tax calculations showed.
The calculations were based on state constitutional requirements and federal consumer price index data accessed from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ website on Sept. 14.
The state’s hourly minimum wage would increase 23 cents in 2022 based on the relevant Bureau of Labor Statistics’ consumer price index having risen just over 1% from the first half of 2020 to the first half of 2021.
