Comments Session on Trucker Service-Hour Rules Set for Sept. 17

A second comments session on the hours-of-service rulemaking regarding truckers’ workday and rest-break rules was scheduled for Sept. 17 in Washington.

Details on the second of two sessions were announced Sept. 3 by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in a Federal Register notice.

Comments and research related to the hours-of-service proposed rulemaking (RIN 2126-AC19) may be presented from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Transportation Department at 1200 New Jersey Ave. SE, Washington, D.C. 20590.
