Connecticut announced its unemployment insurance tax rates and taxable wage base for 2026, according to an update on the Department of Labor’s website.
Tax rates for experienced employers will range from 1.1% to 9.9%, compared to a range of 1.1% to 8.9% for 2025, according to the website. The rate for new employers will be 1.9% for 2026, down 2.2% for 2025.
The unemployment-taxable wage base will rise to $27,000 from $26,100 for 2026, according to the website.
