The hourly minimum wage in Daly City, California, will rise to $16.62 from $16.07 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to an update on the city’s website.
The city updated its official notice and poster to reflect the increase. Both are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Tagalog. Employers must post the notice at work sites where employees can easily read it.
The minimum wage applies to employees working at least two hours in the city per week, according to Daly City’s website.
