Delaware’s hourly minimum wage is to rise annually until it reaches $15 in 2025 under a bill (S.B. 15) that Gov. John Carney (D) signed on July 19.
The state’s hourly minimum wage is to rise to $10.50 from $9.25 on Jan. 1, 2022; to $11.75 on Jan. 1, 2023; to $13.25 on Jan. 1, 2024; and to $15 on Jan. 1, 2025, under the bill.
The state’s hourly minimum wage has been $9.25 since Oct. 1, 2019.
