Denver Minimum Wage Rising to $19.29 for 2026

The hourly minimum wage in Denver, Colorado, will rise to $19.29 from $18.81 for calendar year 2026, according to an Aug. 7 press release from the city.

The hourly tipped minimum wage for food and beverage workers will rise to $16.27 from $15.79, according to the press release. Employers may pay the tipped minimum wage as long as food and beverages workers earn at least $3.02 in actual tips.

Denver annually increases its minimum wage based on changes to the consumer price index, which increased by 2.56% in the Denver-Lakewood area, according to the press release.
