District of Columbia employees are entitled to paid leave for taking time off work to receive and recover from a Covid-19 vaccine, under a new emergency law (D.C. Act 24-209) signed by Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) on Nov. 18.
The law became effective Nov. 18, and will remain effective no longer than 90 days.
