Edgewater, Colorado, is the second locality in the state, after Denver, to enact a minimum wage law, under an ordinance that will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2024.
The new law applies to employees who perform or are expected to perform at least four hours of work in the city in a week, under Ordinance 2023-07.
The city’s hourly minimum wage will be $15.02 for calendar year 2024, $16.52 for 2025, $18.17 for 2026, $19.99 for calendar year 2027, and $21.99 for 2028, under the ordinance.
