The cities of Emeryville and Fremont, in Alameda County, California, announced increases to their minimum wage rates effective July 1, according to updates on their websites.
The hourly minimum wage will rise to $20.34 from $19.90 in Emeryville and to $18.05 from $17.75 in Fremont.
Fremont updated its minimum wage bulletin to reflect the increase. The bulletin is available in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Emeryville has yet to release an updated minimum wage poster.
