Employees to Receive Paid Leave for 2018 Eid al-Fitr Holiday

Many countries provide employees with paid leave in recognition of the Islamic holiday Eid al-Fitr, which celebrates the end of Ramadan.

Countries that observe Eid al-Fitr as a paid holiday include Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.
