European Commission Approves Italian State Aid Regime for Employers Due to War

The European Commission (EC) June 19 issued Decision Nos. C(2023) 4063 and C(2023) 4061, approving the state aid regimes for 113.1 million euros (US$122.9 million) and 422.4 million euros (US$459 million), for employers hiring women and young workers, respectively, due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
