Fiji increased its hourly minimum wages Aug. 1 and will again April 1, 2025, its government said.
The Employment Relations (National Minimum Wage) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 increase the standard hourly minimum wage to FJ$4.50 (US$2.01) Aug. 1, and to FJ$5 April 1, 2025.
The 10 sets of industry-specific minimum wages will also increase by 50 cents each on the same dates as part of the country’s most recent budget, the government said.
