The finalized version of Publication 15-T, Federal Income Tax Withholding Methods, was released Dec. 9 by the Internal Revenue Service.
The 66-page publication, which is dated Dec. 8 and includes updated amounts throughout, describes how to calculate withholding using the wage-bracket and percentage methods, and includes broader and updated tables. The publication includes five withholding worksheets and corresponding tables. The marginal tax rates are 10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35%, and 37%.
