Effective for 2022, Finland’s employer’s health insurance contribution rate will be 1.34% of employment income paid to employees, according to a notice (Finnish) from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The 2022 health insurance contribution rate decreased by 0.19 percentage points from the 2021 rate of 1.53%.
Effective for 2022, the daily subsistence allowance contribution rate for employees is 1.18% of taxable income, and is assessed on employees who earn at least 15,128 euros (U.S. $17,142.29) annually, up from 14,766 euros, the ministry said.
