The Finnish Tax Administration Dec. 8 announced various tax law changes for 2026. The announcement includes measures to: 1) abolish the standard home office and labor organization fee deductions, and the exemption for employee bicycle benefit agreements made on or after April 24; 2) increase to 7,499 euros (US$8,716) every three years from 4,999 euros (US$5,810) the tax-exempt threshold for gift tax, and to 30,000 euros (US$35,095) from 20,000 euros (US$23,398) the tax-exempt threshold for inheritance tax; 3) tax specified client bonuses as capital income, with exceptions; 4) require crypto-asset service providers to collect and report information on all users, ...
