Florida’s unemployment tax rates are to be unchanged for 2020, a spokesman for the state Department of Revenue said Dec. 23.
Effective Jan. 1, 2020, unemployment tax rates are to range from 0.1% to 5.4%, unchanged from 2019. The tax rate for new employers is to be 2.7%.
Florida’s unemployment-taxable wage base is to be $7,000 in 2020, unchanged from 2019.
