Posters reflecting Florida’s minimum wage changes that take effect Sept. 30 were issued by the state commerce department Sept. 25.
On Sept. 30, the hourly minimum wage increases to $13, from $12. The minimum wage for tipped employees increases to $9.98, from $8.98, the department said in the English version of the poster.
The poster is also available in Spanish and Haitian Creole.
Employers required to pay their employees at least the Florida minimum wage must post the notice in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment where the employees work.
