Germany Raises 3 Industries’ Minimum Wages

Ordinances from Germany’s Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs setting minimum wages for some employees in airport security and the roofing and scaffolding industries in 2026 and future years were published by the country’s government Dec. 19.

The airport security ordinance (German) covers employees in Salary Groups II, III, and IV as defined by the industry’s wage agreement, including security check personnel, other security personnel working at airports and in restricted-access areas of airport property, and other employees who have completed air security-specific or airport-specific training.
