Guyana’s minimum wages increased July 1, an order from the country’s labor ministry said.
The Labour (National Minimum Wage) Order 2022, which was published June 24, sets the minimum wage at G$347 (U.S. $1.66) per hour, G$2,776 per day, G$13,880 per week, or G$60,147 per month.
The previous minimum wages, in effect starting Jan. 1, 2017, were G$255 per hour, G$2,040 per day, G$10,200 per week, or G$44,200 per month.
