Harvard University is violating Massachusetts law by paying employees monthly, according to a class action suit by an adjunct lecturer.
Graduate School of Education adjunct Kimberly Topping claims Harvard paid them roughly $18,000 of their wages later than required by the Massachusetts Wage Act, according to a lawsuit filed Friday in Massachusetts Superior Court, Middlesex County.
Harvard’s “illegal payroll policies have resulted in late payment and the unlawful withholding of millions of dollars in wages over the last three years,” the complaint said.
