Hawaii announced the unemployment-taxable wage base and maximum weekly benefit amount that will go into effect for 2023.
The unemployment-taxable wage base will be $56,700 for 2023, up from $51,600 for 2022, according to a Dec. 2 update on the state unemployment insurance division’s website.
Hawaii has not yet determined the unemployment contribution rate schedule and employment and training assessment rate that will be in effect for 2023.
