The minimum wage in Hayward, California, will be $17.36 for large businesses and $16.50 for small businesses in 2025, according to an update on the city’s website.
Large businesses are employers with at least 26 employees, while small businesses are those with 25 or fewer employees, according to the website.
Hayward updated its minimum wage bulletin to reflect the increase. The bulletin is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
